On September 26th, President Donald Trump nominated Judge Amy Coney Barrett for the position of Supreme Court Justice. Following the President’s announcement, Judge Amy Coney Barrett gave a message to the American people.
“I would assume this role to serve you,” she said. “I would discharge the judicial oath, which requires me to administer justice without respect to persons, do equal right to the poor and rich, and faithfully and impartially discharge my duties under the United States Constitution.”
This week, Amy Coney Barrett is on Capitol Hill meeting with the senators.
