On Monday, April 8th, 2024, a total solar eclipse will be passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada.
Solar eclipses happen when the moon passes between Earth and the sun. Those who are located directly in the path of the eclipse will experience a total eclipse, those outside the path will experience a partial eclipse.
On NASA’s Solar Eclipse Page,
https://science.nasa.gov/eclipses/future-eclipses/ eclipse-2024
you can view the path of the eclipse and enter your zip code for the exact percentage of totality in your location. The page also teaches how to view the eclipse safely and what to expect during the eclipse.
Have fun viewing!
