Easter is approaching and soon preparations will begin for this beautiful day. Easter is the day our Lord resurrected and it should be celebrated.
Now there is more than one way to celebrate, doing something special with your family, meeting with friends, having a party, or even just doing something together at home.
Now a party doesn’t necessarily need to be a lot of fuss or stress, a tea party is small, pretty simple, and very cute. Some cute decorations, a variety of food, and perhaps a chance to get a little dressed up is always a nice invitation to receive. Now you could text, email, or go with the classic note card way of sending invitations to those you want to come to your tea party. Now in case you are not sure what to make or how to decorate I have some ideas I think you will like.
Let’s get down to your menu along with decorations. For the food I suggest something light, but delicious. Multiple options for the guests is always nice and easy to find something for everyone.
Let’s start planning the menu!

For starters let’s do the appetizers on your menu. It doesn’t have to be fancy, a veggie tray, a fruit bowl, a cheese ball accompanied by crackers, and a caprese salad is a very nice start to a light and delicious meal.
Now that the appetizers are finished let’s move on to the main course. Ham and turkey finger sandwiches are very cute and tasty. If you want more options to go along with the finger sandwiches, crostinis are delicious. Ham and cheese and chicken salad are both great choices for these.
Now that the main course is complete, the best is next, dessert! There are so many options to choose from and they all look so delicious, but let’s just choose 2-4 options for this.
Chocolate covered strawberries are so good and are very easy to make.
Miniature cupcakes or slices of cake are also delicious.
I also chose to order a few of Starbucks petite vanilla bean scones, but if you don’t want to have to order dessert then there are still plenty of other options!
that the dessert is finished, how about a special drink for the guests. Raspberry sherbet punch is an easy three ingredient, three step drink and definitely will make you want more. https://tornadoughalli.com/raspberry-sherbet-punch/#recipe
Now for your decorating!
A cute Easter themed cloth or just a white tablecloth will do, teacups and plates, a flower centerpiece, a couple of glass jars spread about the table with easter candy, and name cards showing everyone where to be seated.
Of course these are just suggestions based on what me and my friends did for our Easter tea party! The decisions for the food and decorations are up to you and those you are planning with.
Happy Easter!
