The First 100 Days of President Donald J. Trump: Week Two
From nominating a new Supreme Court Justice to meeting with the King of Jordan, President Donald Trump had another busy week. Here is a breakdown of some of the more important actions of the president in his second week in office:
Monday 1/30: President Trump issues an executive order, “Reducing Regulations and Controlling Regulatory Costs”, in order to lower the costs of government and limit the number of regulations.
Tuesday 1/31: The president nominates Judge Neil Gorsuch for the Supreme Court.
Wednesday 2/1: President Trump declares a disaster in South Dakota following a December storm and provides federal funding to aid recovery.
Thursday 2/2: A meeting takes place between the president and King Abdullah II of Jordan.
Friday 2/3: President Trump composes a letter to Catholic schools in honor of National Catholic Schools Week.
